I purchased the shoe for my eight year old grandson. Like most boys his age, they live in their sneakers. When he openned them for Christmas, he looked at them, said he liked them and continued to the toys. We got him ready for his other grandmother to pick him up and there he was in his new black, trendy, light-wearing Timberlands! He's been in them ever since! I was impressed with the construction of the shoe and glad that the will not reside in the back of the closet!
