Leather has a broken in feel and not stiff enough to add support to upper ankle. And the stitching only makes matter worse and allows shoe to rub and cause a blister.

This is a nice canvas/leather boot made by timberland that is not too stiff, and has a short break it. It is a very comfortable day wearer, or good for small day hikes on easy terrain. It is lightweight, and made of recycled materials. hooray!

These boots are awesome. I tried them on at [...]to check size. They do run a bit large. I usually wear a 10 and bought a 9.5. They're really nice boots. The leather is soft and didn't require much break-in. They look perfect. I've had them for a week and have worn them everyday. Super comfortable!
