        This is my second pair of these and I love them. There seems to have been some changes made in the sole area. The first pair lost small pieces of the leather welt that ran the perimeter of the sole edge between the rubber resulting in small gaps as the boots aged. The new design doesn't appear to have that leather welt. The boots keep my feet dry in most situations.

              I am a heavy man who stands on a concrete floor up to 12 hrs a day and this boot works well and holds up well. I have worn them in all kinds of climates and they have never ever failed me. If you want a good easy to wear boot give this one a try I do not think you will regrete it.
