This is my wife's first pair and she loves them for the outdoors. We have snow today and she says they are great, warm and keep her feet dry with good traction. Just what she was looking for!!!

I work in an auto repair shop and am on my feet all day long. This boot does really well on wet, slick concrete. It's easy to get on and off. My feet get cold easily but it doesn't in this boot. It gets really good traction in the snow, which is a plus for me since I live in west virginia.

Comments about Timberland Women's Chocura Trail Hiker:
When I opened the box my heart sank. They looked very heavy and clunky but when I put them on and laced them up I was in heaven. They fit like they were made just for my feet.
The first thing I did was coat them in mink oil to keep them waterproof. Slather it on, work it into the seams real well and wipe off any excess. Regular use of the mink oil will keep them waterproof and supple so they will last for years to come. The last thing you want is the leather drying and cracking.
I wear them nearly every day, there was no break-in time needed and they feel much lighter than the look. They handle the trail as well as the street. I am so satisfied I ordered a second pair in case they stop making this boot.
If you wan't to make a good investment in footwear this is the boot for you.

Comments about Timberland Women's Chocura Trail Hiker:
I received my boots earlier than what was quoted me for their delievery. They fit perfect and so comfortable. My friend has a pair of Timberland boots and she's had them for well over 10 years. The workman ship is unbelieveable. I know these boots will last forever. I will no doubt be ordering more Timberlands.
