    I had a previous, wider pair that were excellent but required heavy socks. These fit snugly and lighter socks are appropriate. I find them a bit snug at the toes but think that will improve with wear. My go-to footwear for rain and snow!

                  This is the most expensive pair of boots. I returned 3 three times before I got the right fit. My poor sister was so frustrate she wanted to give up. Boot she needs an extra wide boot and it was a gift. So I made her try one more time. Thankfully the four pair will work. They are a little too tight but hopefully they will stretch.

                          I first found this style a few years ago and was devastated when the left boot must have accidentally slipped into the throw-out pile during an apartment paint job. I searched and searched and almost gave up ever being able to replace it. I was THRILLED to find it again. It is the only style higher than an ankle boot that not only fits but is truly comfortable on my fat and swollen calves. I love this boot. This time I bought a backup pair just in case something happens to it.
