Comments about Work America Men's 6" Steel Toe Rugged Work Boot:
I have been wearing there work boots for over 25yrs. I'm on my 4th new pair, and should be my last pair, I'm retiring in 5 years. They feel great from day one. I'm a Tool-Maker, and walk on alot of steel chips, and on my feet all day. I wouldnt think of buying anything, but there shoes.
I could have sent them back after 7yrs, to get a new pair, because the sole split, a mouth ago, and the uppers wear still holding strong. I would have felt guilty. A great work boot.

Comments about Work America Men's 6" Steel Toe Rugged Work Boot:
I work heavy commercial construction. I can take these boots out of the box and wear them all day with no discomfort. I've been wearing this same boot for 20 to 25 years.

Comments about Work America Men's 6" Steel Toe Work Boot:
The footbeds inside the boots are a little hard. There is no shock absorbtion whatsoever. I now have a permanent callous on my big toe where the edge of the steel toe cap rubs when I walk. The toungues are made of thin, flimsy leather and do not stay up. They fall over inside the boot and I have the laces rubbing against my shins. Once these wear out, I do not think I will purchase this particular style again.

Nice to find work boots that fit my odd 13B feet.
Service and delivery comments:
The process of tracking the boot delivery time got a little scrambled, but overall was satisfactory.

Comments about Work America Men's 6" Steel Toe Work Boot:
I'm not a big fan of the steel-toed "sneaker" look. I wanted the most basic and conventional work boot I could find, and that's what you see here: tough, rugged boots that are long-lasting and can take a beatin'. The tread on the soles is perfect: enough to prevent slipping, but not so much that gunk gets stuck in them and you track it into your house. As with all leather shoes and boots, they do take about a week or so to really break in. I would definitely buy these boots again when the time comes.

The heel feels too wide so the strings must be tied tight to keep them from slipping.

Boots are good except the top 3 hooks catch on top of work pants.

Comments about Work America Men's 6" Steel Toe Work Boot:
Bounce between 233's, 901's and the dis-continued 941's. Seem to wear them daily for exactly a year, or about 4,000 hours, then resole them for another year. They see a lot of abuse and remain primo with little care. Great shoe. Have bought no other work shoes in 30 years. ...And don't intend to either!
