This shoe has the best traction on steep roofs that I have found. I put up Television Antennas and have purchaced 7 pair of these shoes in the last 14 years. Although the crepe soles do wear faster because of the sand on shingles, they are well worth it for the added traction. I have tried other shoes, in the last 14 years but the crepe sole has the best traction on steep roofs.

            Love the boot uppers, but the tread is deeper and has both horizontal and vertical lines that trap mud as I landscape. All of my former wedge heeled boots had only horizontal tread that were easy to wipe clean in the grass, which is why I always buy the wedge heels. With this new pair I have to constantly take off my boots and dig out the mud to go inside anywhere. My wife just ordered me a pair of Dickies trader boots which I know have only the horizontal tread on their wedge heel. The problem is that I need a wide size, and they are very hard to find which is why I ordered them from you this time. I am considering taking a sander to the bottom of the tread to make them smoother and less likely to fill with mud.
