      I have wide flat feet with no arch, so this shoe is good for me because it has a flat sole. The leather was rigid at first but became very flexible after wearing a few days. The only thing about this shoe which I did not like is the fabric lining in the toe box. I would have preferred this shoe to be totally unlined. Otherwise this is a very comfortable shoe.

      These shoes seem well made, stiching is substantial and neatly done. The 4E width I need was undersized. Stretching the toe box made them much more comfortable. The sole insert is glued in and thin, but will accept most after market inserts.

                  I have been wearing this shoe for more than 30 years. Best cushioning from soft sole, and most breathable shoe I've ever worn because it doesn't have an unnecessary inner liner (which is synthetic and non-breathable in most shoes). Great shoe -- but -- the soft sole wears out in months (I weigh 220 lbs.). If they would make this exact shoe with a harder bottom layer on the sole, it would be perfect. As it is, the upper is still perfect when I have to throw the shoes out. Of course, they sell more shoes this way....
