I tend to have wide feet, so I have always looked for the wide size at shoes stores. But I tended to blow the sides of shoes out. So I finally looked for EEE shoes and these are perfect. I first ordered 10 1/2 shoes, but the exchanged them for 10. I think I have being buying shoes too big for years to compensate for my width. The shoes themselves are classic styling. At first they seemed sort of plain, but after a day or two, I decided I like the look of them.

Leather sole dancing shoes are hard to find, but this product can best be described as "clunky" The sole extends too far out(more than normal for goodyear welts. Also the sole is very thick(a good characteristic normally)But because the shoe is so stiff, I don't think it will ever break in and be comfortable, the sole shows some wear so I would be unable to return.....I was fooled by the neat appearance

You can sure tell these aren't made by the same people anymore. My first two pair were excellent quality, comfortable shoes. When I went to order my third & fourth pair, [...] They now outsource their shoes and were in-between manufacturers! These are no longer American, union-made shoes and boy, do they show it. I won't be buying these anymore. They used to pride themselves in their American made shoes...but that's not the case now.

I bought this pair because of positive experiences with my previous dress shoe purchases. It completes my range of colors and styles - black through brown, wing tip through plain. Good fit, soles that can be replaced, comfortable enough that I can wear them all day. I was pleasantly surprised that they took no break in period but that's consistent with previous purchases. Arrived faster than I expected. Good dress shoes are harder and harder to find in local stores.

I spent a long time going to numerous stores to find a pair of brown "dressier" shoes. Either I hated the color or the style. I remembered a pair of black Executive Imperial loafers I was given and decided to look for brown then I found the Oxfords. They looked like what I was looking for and when they arrived they were and they were sized the same so I had no fit issues.

I have purchased at least 5 pairs of these same shoes over the years. They are basically the only shoes I own. (Otherwise I wear sneakers)

The Executive Imperial Oxfords are very well made. Soles last about 18 months, and usually can be replace by half-soles once, then whole soles after that. The uppers can last over 5 years, but start looking worn after 3.

I always use shoe trees when I put them away. That helps a lot.

These shoes are a great value - similar shoes in stores sell for over $130.

I'm on the second pair in a couple of months and both developed a squeak. I'm hoping as they break in the squeak will just fade. I'm very limited in selection due to my size (8 1/2 A), so I'm either stuck with these or forced to spend exorbitant sums of money.

Look great, fit big. VERY, VERY stiff soles - take a LOOOOONG time to flex enough to wear for more than an hour. Good items if you want to strengthen your feet.

It's hard (impossible) to find a shoe with a leather sole that comes in a variety of widths. This one fills the bill and if you wait for a sale is very reasonably priced. It's too bad it is made in China. It is not as good a quality as the Florsheims I bought 29 years ago.

I have ordered more than six pair of these over the years. I love the classic design. They have always held up well until the last pair I got. I hope it was just a fluke but they seemed to scuff and scar much more easily this time, that is why only four stars. Otherwise they are great but I hope they improve the toughness of the leather.

From the minute I put on my first pair my feet felt like they were in heaven. They were light and comfortable and required no breakin time. I use them for all occasions that require a dress shoe. They make a good dance shoe for the causal dancer. No need to worry about taking your shoes off if you get caught having to walk through a foot of water. They dry out quickly and are as good as new.
