I bought these Wingtips for my wedding in 1985. These have been my dress shoes for 30 years. They have not worn out other than needing a little polish. I wear these for church each week, and any dress up occasion, but not for work. I was in Church today wondering if this company was still in business since mine have not worn out. Classic design, exceptional quality materials and craftsmanship. This what an American product needs to represent! More companies and products like these will by word of mouth and create more jobs in America (since my company is shifting most high tech products to Asia!). Thank you for an exceptional long lasting product.

Very stylish. Well made. But size is 1/2 to 1 size larger than marked. You may do well to buy one size smaller than you usually do. What may seem like a small thing is actually very important, namely, the flaps that the laces goes through are far enough apart that there is room to tighten the shoe as it breaks in. Many shoes don't have this feature.

I wear anything from a 8.5 to 9 in a dress shoe. However my arch is very high, so keep this mind when I say that this shoe runs a half size too big. To get a proper fit I wear a 7.5 E in this shoe.

All leather uppers allow foot to breathe and wears forever. Leather sole allows shoe to be easily repaired so that the shoe can be used daily for years. The shift from being made in USA to being made in China is disappointing, as is the concurrent change from a leather welt and leather piping to plastic. Still, it's basically the same shoe it's always been, and for someone who's on his feet and walking around for much of the day, the shoe is more comfortable than any slip-on or squishy soft-soled shoe by an order of magnitude.

I wanted to love the experience, but didn't. The sizing chart didn't match the shoes at all and I had to return twice. Now, they are too small and too narrow, but to aviod the additional fees (3X) to return and wait the additional weeks for another attempt, I am trying to break them in. So far, still uncomfortable. I love the shoes, want to order again, but do not want to relive this same experience. Lesser shoes are worth more than this hassle, I fear.

For much of my early work career, I cheerfully wore these timeless wingtip shoes. When my Mason dealer moved away, I thought my access to these shoes ended. After years of floundering with shoes of lesser quality, I found that Mason shoes were available via the Internet. With great excitement I ordered a new pair of wingtips. When they arrived and I slipped them on my feet, I knew I was reunited with an old friend! The wingtips are high quality, solidly built, roomy inside and the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. This classic styling in a traditional wingtip is hard to find, but now I know where I'll be purchasing my shoes for the remainder of my working career.

The shoe is really comfortable and breaks in easily. The 3E size for me is perfect. I tired the Florsheim 3E Imperial and it is too tight and still too stiff and hot. The Mason shoe that was made in America was great. The ones made in China have black piping that peals after two weeks and shows the white cord below. Using a black magic marker to color it is about I can do to make the shoe look OK.

Both laces broke after one month(About 8 wearings).If this is the quality of the shoe I think it will not last. Since this is made in China I do not know how long they will last. I have ordered this style for about 15 years. Previously I could have this style resoled three times before the uppers wore out. I do not how many resoles I will get with these.

I bought this shoe in Brown about eight years ago, and have worn it steadily ever since. They ended up being my favorite shoes. I wore them a couple of times a week to work and to church on Sunday for years. They needed to be broken in when I first got them, but they were always comfortable for all day long wear. They have the look, feel, and quality of shoes costing three to five times more.Unfortunately after all those years, the black stitching at the top of the shoe has worn away and looks very shabby. [...] I think it is time to put them in the rubbish bin. I also wish they offered this shoe in an English tan.
