I wear a size 12 AA and my choices for shoes are becoming very limited. With the shuttering of many brands, the reduction in the styles offered here, and the elimination of narrow offerings by Church's, FootJoy, Dexter, Rockport, and Alden, these shoes are one of the last choices that I have. Out of the box, they look and feel cheaply made, but after the break-in and many coats of polish they begin to look less cheap. I would never describe these shoes as stylish, good looking, or well made. They are quite durable, but stretch as they wear and become wider than the size indicates. If I had another choice, I would buy it.

I still own the former American-made Stuart McGuire shoes that these are based on. While the detailing on these is not quite as fine in side-by-side comparison, they sell for about half of what other shoes like them are selling for. For the money they are an exceptional value.

Originally purchased size 9D, was 1/2 size too big so I went with a size 8 1/2D. Very good fit. I Like the color especially the bright tip. I noticed some pimples on the leather but overall I'm pleased. No store seems to have this type of shoe at this affordable price.
